Welcome to meteon.ai! These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website and our software-as-a-service platform for real estate management (the "Service"). Please read these Terms carefully before using our Service.

By creating an account or by accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

1. The Service

meteon.ai ("we", "us", "our") provides a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform designed to help users manage real estate properties and related data. The Service is accessed via our website, meteon.ai.

2. User Eligibility and Accounts

  • Eligibility: To use the Service, you must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a binding contract. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.
  • Account Creation: You must create an account to access the Service. You agree to provide information that is accurate, complete, and current at all times. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of the Terms, which may result in immediate termination of your account.
  • Account Security: You are responsible for safeguarding the password that you use to access the Service and for any activities or actions under your password. You agree not to disclose your password to any third party. You must notify us immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your account.

3. Intellectual Property Rights

The Service and its original content (excluding data provided by you), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of meteon.ai. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of Canada and foreign countries. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without our prior written consent. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our Service or included software.

4. Your Data

You retain all ownership rights to the information, data, and content you upload or input into the Service ("User Data").

However, to enable us to operate the Service, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to use, host, store, reproduce, modify, and display your User Data solely for the purposes of operating, providing, and improving the Service.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service for any purpose that is illegal or prohibited by these Terms. You agree not to:

  • Decompile, reverse engineer, or otherwise attempt to obtain the source code of the Service.
  • Use the Service to transmit any harassing, abusive, defamatory, obscene, or fraudulent content.
  • Use the Service to violate the privacy or intellectual property rights of others.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.

6. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and bar access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, at our sole discretion, for any reason whatsoever and without limitation, including but not limited to a breach of the Terms.

If you wish to terminate your account, you may simply discontinue using the Service.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. Your use of the Service is at your sole risk. The Service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or course of performance.

8. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall meteon.ai, nor its owner, directors, employees, partners, or agents, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service; (ii) any conduct or content of any third party on the Service; (iii) any content obtained from the Service; and (iv) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence) or any other legal theory, whether or not we have been informed of the possibility of such damage.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Montreal, Quebec, to resolve any legal matter arising from the Terms.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
